Canonbie Youth Group and Sunday School had a great time at Spree in the Borders 2011 17th - 19th June. Click here for pictures and more details.
We meet at Mozie Law, Canonbie [map] most Sunday nights, 7.30 - 9pm.
On Sunday nights we meet and discuss various topics which concern young people today which all connects back to the major topic of Christianity. We have a group
of 15 which starts from the age of 11.
We have often held a Ready Steady Cook evening where we are given ingredients and we come up with some weird and wonderful creations, which are not always what they seem!
We also have our Christian Youth Band, which meets on a Friday after school for a practice. We play at our local praise services and also family services on the first Sunday of each month, and also
on special request at other churches.
Previously we have been to a youth social evening called Engaged, with music and short talks. These have all been held at Newcastleton, but we are hoping
to have one at our local hall.
