Art Exhibition
Local artist Helen Irving launched the first art exhibition to be held in Canonbie United Parish Church Gallery with her solo display of stunning natural world pictures.
The renovated church was a perfect setting for her beautifully painted images of birds and flowers – robins, wrens, swallows, long-tailed tits, and flowers and plants throughout the seasons. Her attention to detail is meticulous and her work is eagerly sought-after.
Throughout the exhibition it is estimated that somewhere in the region of 300 people came even though nearly all Helen’s works were sold on the opening night – congratulations to Helen for creating such an outstanding exhibition.
